This soup is a comforting blend of celery and carrots with hearty cubes of chicken, making it an ideal meal for cooler weather. It’s nutritious, filling, and can be enjoyed by dogs and humans alike if prepared correctly.

- Chop the celery stalks and carrots.
- Peel and cube the potatoes.
- Cut the chicken breast into cubes.
- In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat (omit oil for pet portions).
- Add the cubed chicken and sauté until lightly browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the chopped celery and carrots, and optional potatoes to the pot with the chicken.
- Stir well to combine.
- Pour in the chicken broth and increase the heat to bring the mixture to a boil.
- Once boiling, reduce the heat to a simmer and cover the pot.
- Let the soup simmer for about 25-30 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender and the flavors have melded together.
- (Optional) For a smoother texture, carefully blend the soup using an immersion blender directly in the pot, or transfer to a blender in batches. For a chunkier texture, partially blend or mash some of the vegetables and chicken with a potato masher.
- Allow the soup to cool down before serving to pets, ensuring no bones or harmful seasonings (like salt or onion) are included in their portions.
